Course Overview
Unlocking the Lower Leg is a course designed to address the common pain patterns in the lower body, particularly in individuals who experience tightness, restricted movement, and discomfort in the feet, ankles, and calves. This course will focus on helping you understand and work with clients struggling with the effects of poor lower leg mechanics, stiffness, ankle mobility and inbalance in foot and ankle control.
Participants will gain an understanding of the muscular anatomy surrounding the lower leg, including key muscle groups such as the Gastrocnemius, Soleus and Deep Posterior compartment (Post. Tibularis, Flexor Hallucus Longus, Flexor Digitorum Longus), relationship between Ant. Tibialis and Peroneus Longus (pronation support). You will learn how these muscles interact and how to identify imbalances that contribute to pain and restricted movement.
Attendees will acquire effective techniques to release tension, correct muscle imbalances, and improve mobility in the lower leg. By the end of the course, you'll be equipped with the skills to help alleviate pain, enhance movement, and restore optimal function to the feet, ankles, and lower legs.
Ideal for massage therapists, sports massage therapists, and body workers, this course equips you with the essential tools to improve mobility and alleviate pain effectively.
